Guests use bicycles to get between attractions, although Longleat also has a miniature train. One of four Center Parcs in Britain, Longleat has the most spectacular scenery.

IN THE NEWS: Liam Gallagher and family came on holiday late last year. Staying in one of the executive lodges, the former frontman of Oasis threw himself into the activities, even tackling the 30ft climbing wall, while sensibly wearing a helmet and elbow pads.
